As the founder and president of Youth Advocates for Global Health Association (YAGHA), I launched an oral health campaign in Africa aimed at raising awareness of the critical importance of oral hygiene in underserved communities. Through this initiative, YAGHA has donated essential dental care supplies, including toothbrushes and toothpaste, to those lacking access to basic oral health resources. Our mission is to address the significant disparities in dental care by providing educational materials, organizing community outreach programs, and advocating for improved healthcare infrastructure. With a strong commitment to global health, YAGHA is dedicated to creating lasting change, ensuring that individuals in these communities have the opportunity to maintain proper oral health and improve their well-being. This initiative reflects YAGHA’s core values of service, education, and empowerment, and demonstrates my passion for healthcare as well as my goal of contributing to sustainable global health solutions.
